01. Policy Overview and Scope

pulsegamesstudio("Company," "we," "us," or "our") may process personal information in connection with our mobile applications, games, related websites, customer support channels, events, communities, marketing pages, and ancillary features (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, transfer, and protect personal information.

This Policy is intended to function as a global privacy notice. It is drafted with Republic of Korea as the primary service-country and governing-reference point. However, where mandatory privacy or consumer-protection laws apply in your place of residence, those laws may supplement or override this Policy to the extent required.

Sections 13 and 14 contain additional regional disclosures for California residents and for EEA and UK users. If those sections apply to you, they supplement the rest of this Policy and prevail to the extent of any conflict.

02. Information We Collect

Please note that not all of the information listed below may be collected from every app or game.

Information You Provide Directly

We may collect information that you provide directly when you register, configure your profile, contact customer support, make purchases, participate in events, or use community features.

  • Account and profile information, such as nickname, username, email address, login details, profile image, and age or date-of-birth information
  • Customer support information, such as inquiry details, email or chat history, attachments, and device details needed to troubleshoot issues
  • Transaction and payment-related information, such as order identifiers, purchase history, payment status, and refund request details
  • Event and promotion information, such as survey responses and information required to deliver prizes or rewards
  • User-generated content, such as posts, comments, messages, avatars, and community uploads where those features are available

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit, launch, or use the Services, we may automatically collect certain information for operations, security, analytics, and service improvement.

  • Device and technical information, such as device model, operating system, app version, language settings, advertising identifiers, push tokens, IP address, and network information
  • Log and usage information, such as access times, session details, gameplay or app progress, feature usage, crash logs, and diagnostic data
  • Approximate location information based on IP address, or device-based location data where you have granted permission
  • Security signals and technical logs used for fraud detection, cheat prevention, and abuse prevention

Information Received From Third Parties

We may receive limited information from third parties in connection with operating the Services.

  • App marketplaces and platform operators, such as download platforms and operating system providers
  • Social login or external account-linking providers
  • Payment processors and payment service providers
  • Analytics, advertising, attribution, and customer support tool providers
  • Affiliates, co-promotion partners, and other lawful business partners

03. How We Use Information

We may use the information we collect to provide, operate, improve, and protect the Services, including for the following purposes.

05. How We Share Information

We may share information with the following categories of recipients where necessary to operate the Services.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Where appropriate, we may use contractual, technical, and organizational measures to require recipients to protect personal information and use it only for authorized purposes.

06. International Data Transfers

To operate the Services globally, we may transfer, store, or process information in Republic of Korea and in other countries where we, our affiliates, or our service providers maintain facilities or servers. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws of your residence.

Where required by applicable law, we may implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses, transfer addenda, comparable contractual protections, internal access controls, data minimization practices, and technical or organizational security measures.

07. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, local storage, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, and similar technologies in our websites and apps. These technologies may support login persistence, preferences, security, analytics, performance measurement, personalization, advertising measurement, or interest-based advertising where permitted.

You may be able to limit certain tracking technologies through browser settings, device settings, operating system permissions, advertising controls, or in-app settings. Doing so may affect the availability or proper functioning of some parts of the Services.

08. Third-Party Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, apps, payment pages, social-media pages, or other services. Those third parties operate independently from us and may have their own privacy policies and practices.

We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or data practices of third parties that we do not control. We use the following third-party services and SDKs in our App. Each service is subject to its own privacy policy.

09. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Account Data

Account information may be retained while your account remains active. Deleted within 30 days of receiving a verified account deletion request.

Transaction Data

Transaction information may be retained as needed for accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. Financial records are typically retained for 5–7 years as required by law.

Gameplay & Analytics Data

Aggregated and anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for statistical purposes. Individual data is retained for 24 months.

Security & Fraud Prevention Logs

Customer-support records, fraud-prevention logs, and security logs may be retained for troubleshooting, abuse prevention, investigation, audit, and legal-compliance purposes.

When we no longer have a legitimate need to retain personal information, we may delete, anonymize, or securely isolate it. Immediate deletion may not always be possible because of backups, technical constraints, legal obligations, or fraud and security investigations.

10. Security

We strive to apply reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. Such measures may include access restrictions, encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest, logging and monitoring, vendor diligence, and backup and recovery procedures.

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. You are also responsible for following basic security practices, such as keeping credentials confidential, not sharing accounts, and taking care when interacting with suspicious links or messages.

11.Children's Privacy

Unless the Services are specifically designed for children, we do not knowingly collect personal information from users below the minimum age permitted by applicable law without appropriate parental or guardian consent.

If we learn that we collected information from a child without the required consent, we may delete the information or restrict its processing. Parents or legal guardians may contact us at privacy@pulsegamesstudio.com.

12. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information.

13. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

This section applies only to California residents to the extent that the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA/CPRA"), applies to our processing of personal information.

Your CCPA/CPRA Rights

How to Submit California Requests

California privacy requests may be submitted at privacy@pulsegamesstudio.com. We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days. If we need more time, we will notify you of the extension.

14. European Users (GDPR / UK GDPR)

This section applies to individuals in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom to the extent that the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to our processing of personal information.

Account & Login Data (Firebase Authentication, Facebook Login, Google Play Games): Processing is necessary to provide the services you requested, including account creation, authentication, and gameplay features.

Legitimate Interest

Analytics & Crash Monitoring (Firebase Analytics, AppsFlyer): We have a legitimate interest in understanding how our App is used and ensuring its stability.

Legitimate Interest

Advertising SDKs (AdMob, AppLovin, Unity Ads): We rely on legitimate interest to deliver relevant advertisements that support our free-to-play service. You may opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.

Your GDPR Rights

International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA or the UK by our third-party service providers. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we will seek to rely on an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, a UK addendum, or another lawful transfer mechanism where required.

15. Marketing, Tracking, and Device Controls

You may have choices regarding account information, device permissions, cookies, advertising settings, and marketing communications.

16. Policy Changes

We may revise this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in law, service features, operational methods, or business needs. When we do, we may update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and provide notice where required by law or where we consider it appropriate. If you continue to use the Services after the effective date of the revised Policy, the updated version will apply to the extent permitted by law.
